Our Senior Living Process

  • Step 1 - Initial Call

Schedule an initial phone or video call.

We’ll send you a questionaire to complete prior to our call (if you wish) so that we don’t waste your time gathering contact information. And, of course, we’ll answer all of your questions.

If it is easier for you to have us meet you at your home we will do so happily.

  • Step 2 - Research & Review

Next, based on your input, we’ll find you a short list of communities - or homes - that best meet your needs and review this with you so you can select which ones you would like to tour in person.

P.S. Don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do at this stage. It is a process - but let us help anyway. Sometimes you need help pulling all your thoughts together - and we are good at that!

  • Step 3 - Meeting & Tours

We will meet with you to review the short list and select the ones you wish to tour in person.

There can be a lot of walking involved in a tour so it is often better to limit the number you go to see.

And since we will have already eliminated those that do not meet your criteria, 2 or 3 tours will likely be enough.

We can accompany you on the tour - so you won’t feel pressured by sales people if you like.

  • Step 4 - Negotiate & Schedule Move

When your your choice has been made we’ll negotiate the terms of the agreement with the community.

Next we’ll schedule and oversee the move.

  • Step 5 - Floorplan & Move

As soon as you’ve chosen your new home, our Move Manager will draw up a floorplan and work with you to choose the items to be moved.

Then packers, movers and unpackers will be scheduled and supervised on moving day.

  • Step 6 - Settle In to Your New Home

Here’s where you get to relax and settle into your new home, because you won’t be tripping over boxes like your past moves. You can make friends and enjoy activities - or read a book in your own private space.

Our handyman can come back and hang artwork, shelves or whatever you need.
